Mr. Tillman’s responsibilities include: drafting estate plans and business agreements; probate administration of estates; preparation of estate and gift tax returns; formation of business entities; and representation before tax authorities. In keeping with the firm’s goal to provide its clients complete and full service estate planning, Mr. Tillman drafts all estate plans which may include a Living Trust, Will, and Durable Power of Attorney; administers estates during probate; and prepares the estate and gift tax returns. Mr. Tillman also organizes and forms corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. To this end, Mr. Tillman drafts employment contracts, buy-sell agreements of business interests, operating agreements, and all legal documents for the Boards of Director and Shareholders. Utilizing his advanced tax law education, Mr. Tillman authors numerous opinions on complex federal and state taxation issues. Mr. Tillman came to Talley and Company from the U.S. Marine Corps after fourteen years of service where he was the Assistant General Counsel, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Senior Prosecutor, and Officer in Charge of Family Law. Raised and educated in Nebraska, Mr. Tillman received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska; Juris Doctor from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska; and Masters of Law - Taxation from the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. While at Creighton, Mr. Tillman faithfully served for two years as the Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, More Chapter. Mr. Tillman resides in the city of El Monte with his wife, Lucy, and their children.

was admitted to the State Bar of California in November 1997. Mr.
Tillman is certified to practice before the United States Tax Court,
United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, United
States Military Court of Appeals, United States District Court for
the Central District of California, and Nebraska Supreme Court.
