Audit Staff Accountant
Lauren Shim is an important part of the staff audit team here at Talley & Company. Her job responsibilities are varied, but they primarily include assisting with audits and reviews and other assignments on an as-needed basis. Lauren earned a masters degree in Accountancy from Cal State Fullerton and is expecting to receive her general CPA license this May. When asked why she enjoys working on the Talley & Company team, she responds that it’s the “friendly working environment, good growth opportunities and relaxed company culture” that draw her to the firm.
When she is not working, Lauren enjoys going to museums, botanical gardens, plays & concerts and basketball & football games. She also enjoys crocheting. If she were not currently working in accounting, she says that she would be operating a coffee and protea farm in Kula, Maui, where her father in law owns ten acres of land.
Lauren and her husband Stuart reside in Rancho Santa Margarita.
