John Parks is our document control specialist here at Talley & Company. A former computer executive enjoying his "retirement" career, John has been instrumental in the process of converting Talley to its current paperless filing system. Before retirement, he was Manager of Computer Policy and Procedures for Rockwell International Corporation, where he spent 35 years of his career. Prior to that, he worked in the Accounting Department for a major oil company in Arkansas, Texas, and Alabama. After retirement he maintained a computerized 25.000 member data base for the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He was also at one time a California Real Estate Licensee. When asked what he enjoys about working for Talley, he responds that it is the "informal management access and the way everyone is working for a common goal." He also enjoys the opportunity he is given to learn new things.

When he is not working, John loves to go camping and fishing and also enjoys spending time in his garden. He has been married to his wife Jean for 51 years and they have lived in Fullerton for 45 out of those 51 years. They have three children and four grandchildren.
