Lorna Dertadian
serves as the firm’s tax compliance manager. Her primary responsibilities
include oversight of the firm's tax compliance operations, staff
management, professional development and workflow scheduling. Additionally,
Lorna handles preparation and review of tax returns as well as compiled
financial statements. Lorna, who has been with our firm for well
over a decade, holds client management responsibility for several
of the firm’s long term clients. She also acts as the key
contact for many of our sports and entertainment clients. Finally,
Lorna is greatly involved in the firm's technological development
and IT infrastructure planning.
Lorna attended the School of Business and Economics at California
State University, Fullerton. She attained a Bachelor's degree in
business with focus on accounting. Following graduation, Dertadian
worked in the Anaheim office of the national accounting firm of
McGladrey & Pullen. While there, she gained expertise in both
the accounting and tax compliance functions. Thereafter, she came
to Talley & Company to help build the tax compliance function.
Since that time, she has become responsible for full oversight of
the tax compliance department at the firm.
Lorna lives in Placentia with her husband, Damian, and their two
sons, Coby and Jake.
