We're sure by now you've heard of the accelerated depreciation opportunity
afforded by vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of more
than 6000 pounds.
We'd like to give you an idea of some of the vehicles that may escape
the luxury auto depreciation/Section 179 limit. A list of 2008 vehicles
that are eligible are included in the following table. For more information
on a particular vehicle, click on the vehicle's name below to visit the
official website.
The GVWR should always be verified before a purchase is made. The
GVWR can normally be found on a label attached to the inside edge of the
driver's side door.
