Career Opportunity - Audit Senior

Talley and Company is an privately-held Orange County accounting and consulting firm servicing closely-held, entrepreneurial-owned, large middle-market companies in Southern California. Talley & Company services a variety of industries including construction, real estate, distribution, manufacturing, transportation and professional athletes. We work with our clients to offer a full range of value-added financial, tax and consulting services.

Talley & Company is seeking an experienced audit professional to be part of our team. This position must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with and regularly contribute to the audit team and the firm as a whole. The ideal candidate will communicate with all levels of the organization, and therefore must possess initiative, an upbeat positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. This is a great opportunity that may develop into management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Audits, reviews, compilations and preparation of financial statements
  • Consulting engagements such as forecasting, projections, and performance measurement
  • Work closely with the tax and consulting divisions
  • Supervision of staff members
  • Reporting to the audit partner

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Accounting
  • CPA
  • 4-10 years experience in public accounting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills plus excellent customer service interface
  • Winning attitude
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Team player

Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with ProSystem Engagement a plus
