Success on the Open Road

Take a few minutes to chat with Cindi Walte on the back porch and you quickly realize that she has an adventurous side. As you approach her desk, you notice several photos of her and her husband interacting with a somewhat unlikely third party – a motorcycle. To the left of the photos, a motorcycle model is further evidence that there is more to Cindi than meets the eye. To Talley, she brings strong organizational skills and a solid background in administration. She is not afraid of a challenge, as proven by the variety of her daily responsibilities in her role of administrative assistant. In addition to regularly aiding the tax department, she is also "on-call" to help-out where needed, so no day is ever the same. While to some that might be an annoyance or burden, to Cindi, it is an challenge that puts her on the "open road" to success.

From her soft-spoken demeanor, you may not guess that her flair for adventure is so great, but two and half years ago, Cindi opened a new chapter in her life and began a journey that is still unfolding. Having never been on a sport motorcycle, she began dating a man with a passion for sports bikes and speed, and thus was born the dawn of two new loves.

Bill Walte is an avid rider. He and his Ducati travel far and travel fast. When he started dating Cindi, he made many long trips up to her hometown of Fresno and from there the two of them hit the road together. When they were married in March of this year, they rode from their wedding to their reception on the motorcycle and then headed out to Morro Bay on a honeymoon. After the honeymoon, Cindi moved to Southern California to be with Bill and the two of them now ride together on the Ducati, touring the Southern California basin, every weekend. In addition to this, they have several long trips planned, including jaunts to Las Vegas and Arizona, and Cindi hopes to take riding lessons and get her own motorcycle soon.
